Jay Kos is different than most bespoke tailors. In addition to a passion for fine fabrics, he has a passion for fine foods. Jay produces a publication called Foodashions which combines his two loves. Jay Kos suits start at around $4,000 for a custom suit and they now feature two New York City locations: Lexington Ave and 72nd St. and Park Ave and 57th St.
Jay is a self proclaimed visual junkie and many of the pieces in his collection feature eclectic colors and patterns. A bright checkered silk dinner jacket or an orange and brown polka dot overcoat are two pieces can find in his 2011 line. In addition to suits, Jay also produces great ties, shoes and vests. He also features some great and unusual accessories like a handwoven alligator belt or a pair of yellow leather driving gloves.
